The Processing Center Shipping & Receiving Team is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient loading and unloading of containers and trailers. The Shipping and Receiving team ensures the orderly and accurate documentation of all shoebox gifts received and shipped. These roles include: Shipping, Receiving, Forklift Operator and Final Count. These positions will also work with other staff to coordinate and meet all deadlines for shipping and receiving commitments.
Samaritan’s Purse is seeking up to 40 individuals to serve with a globally impacting project: Operation Christmas Child (OCC). We are forming a team of seasonal staff to process donations and information collected through the OCC Shoebox Program, in Calgary, AB. We’re looking for individuals who understand the importance of complete and accurate information.
These individuals will have various roles in the OCC Processing Center, all of which support the processing of all donated shoebox gifts and will be responsible to lead and encourage volunteer engagement. These roles include: Receptionist, various Inventory Coordinator roles, and Coaches. Under the guidance of the Processing Center Floor Team, shoeboxes are received and prepared for shipping. Maintaining the integrity of the shoebox gifts and abiding to SPC guidelines and policies is paramount to the responsibilities of the Processing Center Floor Team.
Samaritan’s Purse Canada (SPC) is seeking a Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for providing timely support and design of assigned software solutions for the client departments of SPC. This individual will participate in the support of software and web based applications, data transformation services, SQL queries and report generation.
This individual will assist in maintaining the Corporate Process Repository and will collaborate within and across departments to develop cross-departmental continuity, identify opportunities for improvement and establish, implement and train end users on new processes.
We are looking for a bilingual International Regional Director who will serve the Samaritan’s Purse Canada/Operation Christmas Child International Team with a regional focus on relationship building, development, implementation and management of the volunteer National Leadership Teams who will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of all promotional materials and activities for OCC (Operation Christmas Child). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support OCC operations for five countries in West Africa (Gambia, Sierra Leon, Senegal, Guinea Bissau & Guinea Conakry.)
Dease Lake, British Columbia
Samaritan’s Purse Canada (SPC) is seeking a General Manager who will be responsible for the ongoing development as well as the day-to-day leadership, operations and management of the SPC Dease Lake Ministry Center, which focuses on promoting an understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and SPC’s faithful presence in the community. This position liaises and builds rapport with the Tahltan Nation, local community and church, and is responsible to manage and oversee the Center’s operations, staff, and hospitality services and programs offered to the Dease Lake and surrounding First Nations communities.

Samaritan’s Purse Canada (SPC) is seeking a Ministry Program Coordinator who will be responsible to coordinate and implement the Ministry Center’s programs and initiatives in an effort to accomplish the charitable purposes of the Organization. Under the direction of the Dease Lake Ministry Center Leadership, this position plans, coordinates and supports the Center’s day-to-day operations and hospitality services offered to various members of Dease Lake and surrounding First Nations communities.

The Ministry Center Staff will use their gifts and abilities to participate in, and support the programs and activities of the Ministry Center operations, local community school and the Tahltan First Nation. This position provides support and guidance to youth so that activities and operations in the facility are undertaken with responsible care.

Writers, editors, graphic designers and digital media specialists craft materials that excite our audiences and inspire them to support our work.
Representatives communicate with our donors, stewarding their financial contributions and explaining how their involvement sustains our ministry and changes lives.
IT specialists use their technical skills to build and maintain the hardware, networks and computer applications to support all other departments, allowing others to carry out God’s work.
Facility workers, warehouse staff and others keep our work spaces running efficiently, keeping our staff safe, productive and happy.
Coordinators, managers and other support staff plan and deliver our domestic and international development projects and crisis responses, witnessing firsthand the impact of God’s love to all people.
Operation Christmas Child
Coordinators, managers and other support staff administer our annual shoebox distribution program, which delivers thousands of joy-filled gift boxes to children in developing countries.
Accountants, payroll specialists and others handle the money that flows through the organization, enabling ministry work to be fulfilled properly and efficiently.
