Everyone needs hope.
Samaritan’s Purse has short-term volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, schools, community groups and churches to serve and connect with new people, places, and cultures in our hurting world. Participants will be challenged to meaningfully contribute to our projects while gaining a new perspective. Trips could involve construction projects, medical clinics, community development, evangelism, children’s ministry, sports ministry, shoebox distributions and other outreach opportunities, all with the purpose of serving God in places of need. Each trip looks a little different taking into account the present needs and local culture.
Listen to a podcast from Faith Today magazine Senior Editor Karen Stiller, describing her mission team trip to Cambodia with Samaritan’s Purse Canada. She and other members of her team provided safe water by building Samaritan Filters for schools, and BioSand Filters for households, which quickly transform contaminated water into safe water.
