Samaritan’s Purse is using donations from generous Canadians like you to provide physical and spiritual help to Central and Eastern Canadians who found their homes flooded by rising rivers.

New Brunswick

We are responding to flooding in New Brunswick, coordinating with local authorities and partners to assist impacted families and provide assistance. The Disaster Relief Unit is located at Journey Wesleyan Church (131 Duncan Ln.) in Fredericton, NB. Volunteer shifts in Fredericton started on May 3.

Ontario

Samaritan’s Purse Canada is helping flood victims in Ottawa by sending one of its specially equipped Disaster Relief Units to the water-logged region and recruiting volunteers to clean up damaged homes.

Quebec

Samaritan’s Purse is also helping flood victims in Quebec. We are accepting requests for emergency clean-up assistance in the Gatineau area. Requests are being handled on a “first-come, first-served” basis depending on need and volunteer availability. Gatineau homeowners who need assistance can call 1-819-639-9529.

Volunteers will soon be needed to assist hurting homeowners in Gatineau! Please check back in the coming days for additional info.

Serving in Jesus’ Name

Crisis-trained Rapid Response Team chaplains from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada will work alongside volunteers.
