Easier than you think. More important than you know.
Samaritan’s Purse is committed to meeting critical needs anywhere in the world. Following the example of the Good Samaritan, our work helps to save lives, relieve suffering, and share the eternal hope of Jesus Christ.
When you partner with us, you are helping meet the needs of people who have been thrown into the ditches of life—victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, famine, and persecution.

The World, as 10-Year-Old Andriy Knew It, Was Over. Then You Stepped in to Give Help and Hope.
Andriy* and his family were nearly crushed by 500 others crammed into the small bomb shelter. The space was intended to protect only 50 people. Then his mother—who was recovering from heart surgery when Andriy’s country was invaded—passed away.
After escaping with his two kids to a different city, Andriy’s father learned about a Samaritan’s Purse-supported children’s center. Our partners there described Andriy as “emotionless” and “grey.” They said his young face was etched with grief. His artwork was void of creativity or color; he drew black question marks across the page.
Using financial support from friends like you, the team did everything in their power to help Andriy—and hundreds of other boys and girls—heal from the scars of conflict. Months of specialized child therapy passed. Breakthrough came.
“We can confidently say that Andriy has worked through his fears and anxieties, and he is looking forward to the future with hope,” said our partner. “He is a child who has undergone a transformation from trauma to embracing life.”
That’s the power of your Christlike gift in the middle of chaos. Across countries. Across crises. Your generosity sustains life, and restores it.
Together, we can provide emergency food, water, shelter, medical care, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ.

If you're not in Canada, you can give through one of our worldwide offices. Each office works toward the same goal of taking the love of Jesus Christ to victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, and disease
Samaritan’s Purse Canada is audited annually by an independent public accounting firm, and our financial statement is available upon request.Occasionally we receive more contributions for a given project than can wisely be applied to that project. When this happens, we use these funds to meet a similar pressing need as directed by our Board.
