Helping British Columbia Wildfire Victims

After a devastating wildfire season, hundreds of homeowners in B.C.’s Interior are coming back to the ashes of what were once their homes.

Amid the destruction, you can help by sending and equipping teams of Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief volunteers to walk alongside them in Jesus’ Name.

Two Disaster Relief Units, our specially equipped tractor-trailers, are in the B.C. Interior serving homeowners who have lost nearly everything. One is operating out of Cache Creek, helping residents of Lytton—after almost the entire town burned on June 30—and the surrounding First Nations. The second is based in Vernon and is reaching families in the aftermath of the massive White Rock Lake wildfire.

The teams are helping sift through the ashes of homes to recover treasured possessions that might have survived the flames, clean up debris, and remove burnt trees. Most importantly, they are bringing comfort and sharing the eternal hope of Jesus Christ with those who are hurting.

Please continue to pray for these families on the long road to recovery.
