Women all over the world face the dark reality of abandonment, exploitation, and abuse. Samaritan’s Purse works to reach the most vulnerable of these with the light of the Gospel. We meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of women through programs like abuse prevention, general and maternal health, vocational training, and discipleship.
The hardships women in the developing world face often leave them without hope. Through your generous gifts, Samaritan’s Purse is working to restore the hope of women through programs aimed at increasing literacy, providing maternal health care, teaching livelihood skills, and stopping trafficking and prostitution.
She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
Globally, women earn 24 per cent less than men and do nearly 2.5 times more unpaid and domestic work. Poverty leaves countless women and children in the developing world vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. Join us and our local Christian partners in restoring hope and dignity by providing women with the education, training, and resources they need to earn a fair wage and reach their God-given potential. Doing so will also give their children a head start on improving their lives and their communities.
Come alongside us as a monthly partner! Join us in empowering marginalized women around the world and in doing so, supporting their families and communities.
