Church Resources for Hurricane Dorian Canadian response

September 11, 2019 • Canada

Powerpoint slides and bulletin inserts for your congregation to use to help Hurricane Dorian victims.

Hurricane Dorian passed over Atlantic Canada on Sept. 8 leaving significant wind and storm surge damage in its wake. Samaritan’s Purse has established an initial base of operations in central Prince Edward Island and will be responding to help affected homeowners with damage caused by heavy winds and toppled trees. Homeowners in need of assistance can contact our Disaster Relief Unit at 1-844-547-2663.

We are also continuing to assess damage in Nova Scotia.

Crisis-trained Rapid Response Team chaplains from our sister organization, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada, are also ready to serve in Atlantic Canada as needed.

Please pray for the thousands of people in The Bahamas who have already lost so much and for the many Canadians who are still in Dorian’s path. Pray also for our teams as they work around the clock to bring relief and to share the hope of the Gospel.

Please continue to pray for Atlantic Canada and all those affected by the hurricane. And also pray for our teams as they bring relief and share the comfort, hope, and love of Jesus Christ.
