 Haiti

• Pray that every Haitian orphan would know the presence, comfort and love of their Heavenly Father; pray that their physical needs would be met.
• Pray for the Haitian people---that they are given hope and optimism for the days to come, and that the Lord will quiet their desperation.
• Pray for our work in Haiti---that the Lord would provide His wisdom for proper and timely decisions.
• Pray for God to frequently refresh and renew the Samaritan’s Purse team on the ground, providing His strength and insight to make wise, quick decisions.
• Pray that God’s hand of protection will be on the Samaritan's Purse compound and the teams working in Haiti

 Domestic - Operation Christmas Child

• Pray for all of the individuals, families, churches, and groups who will be filling shoe boxes this year.
• Pray that everyone involved in Operation Christmas Child will truly understand that it is more blessed to give than to receive.
• Pray for the tens of thousands of volunteers who help collect, transport, and process each shoe box gift.
• Pray that all of the Samaritan’s Purse staff, partners, and volunteers are able to overcome the challenges they face with Operation Christmas Child.

 International - Operation Christmas Child

• Pray that God will meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the children who receive shoe box gifts and their families who are living in desperate circumstances, suffering from poverty, sickness, war, or the effects of natural disaster.
• Pray for the hundreds of international volunteers who receive and distribute the shoe box gifts.
• Pray that the shoe box gifts are an effective ministry tool that opens many doors in countries that are not receptive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Pray for the effectiveness of follow-up and discipleship programs to open up hearts to receive God’s love and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
